Tavor words of wisdom

As for Charles Daly, nobody saw them at Shot Show or so far the NRA show. From my understanding on the CD Forum they were closing shop. Unless it's a cruel joke.

Most of his stuff was re-badged Israeli guns anyway. like the Bul Transmark, and those cheez overunder shotguns. The same ones available thru Turkey and Israel...how did he circumvent the clinton rules on those guns?

Good point ViktorF, all I know is that I want a friggin Tavor. Stupid ass laws are killing me. That's why I was wondering if a Tavor could be modified to meet the US's sporting import crap.

Now you know how we feel when we want a compact pistol, or a 5.56mm AR with a flash hider and collapsing stock - you have the same crap for export too.

I think Canadian and American Gunnutz all need to rally and throw these retarded law makers out the door.
I definitely can relate to you guys pain. Do think for a minute that I don't feel for you guys too.

Now thats the way to talk. Not much differences really from the U.S.A. citizens and the Canadians. (mainly the color(colour in Canada) of the money in your pockets. )
We all like guns, shooting them, smelling the gunpowder in your hair on the way home, the beautiful Tinnitis ringing we all have in our ears.....etc. We are all dealing with dumbass laws and dumbass people making said laws. I mean really........I can own a handgun with a 4.2" barrel, but not a 4.1" barrel??? Cause that extra 2mm or so will definately be the difference of CC or not.........................Idiots.

I think WE as people should start making our own laws for them to follow not WE follow them. Do we not pay their salaries? Do We not vote them in? WE should make OUR own petitions for them to follow.

THat's the spirit!

Canam- maybe you might know the answer to this, if a tavor does not meet sporting criteria in the US (which I'm almost positive it doesn't), then it must go by 922R no?

922R is barrel, receiver, and 10 other parts made in the US right? Couldn't paletiger buy a tavor up here and have the receiver, barrel and 10 other parts reverse engineered, then find someone to make the parts for him in the US, import all the other parts, and slap the thing together in the US and be good to go? This of course being theoretical with money being no object.

Correct. It must be "Made in the USA" per 922R. Most importers bring in a "sporting" version and modify it in the US.

Yes, that would work. The mag alone is 4 parts.
