Tavor X95 MSW barrel on new U.S receiver?

Further to greentips’s comment I can’t see why people post pictures or instructions on how to do something to a firearm online. Yes, I understand freedom of speech etc, but what I don’t understand is giving the G’s at the cfo’s office more ammunition to justify banning or declaring items illegal etc. It boogles my mind

The CFO doesn't ban anything. In fact, YOUR CFO in AB (Dr. Teri Bryant) is as pro-legal-firearm as they come. She is a major WW2 Japanese collector, including 12(3) Converted Autos. Identifying firearms for prohibition is done by the Special Services Section of of the RCMP ("The Lab").

MSW carrier won't go into US IWI version, with modification it will work.
MSW bolt should work, I haven't tried, I just don't see why not.
Remember, that even among MSWs there are at least 3 subversions with different changes implemented inside. So, yeah usually it make sense to keep BCG together, and carrier technically can be easily modified to work in US IWI version, but won't work as it is.

If you have both - just take a look. Or you don't have NR yet and considering cannibalizing MSW?

Considering canabalizing if this dumpster fire doesn't get a postive resolution.

The US model is different to be compatible with US regulations such as 922 (r)

Not really different. Just some parts were made in USA, doesn't always mean "made to different specs".

Many parts can be re-used. Some as they are, some (like carrier) will require minor mod (the possible mod is just my theoretical conclusion).

What is the likelihood of these rifles, if returned to the retailer, stripped for parts to recoup losses? I can see SBR parts kits being easy sellers, and some components like the round handguards are practically collector's items. But even things like firing pins, extractors, etc would sell pretty well considering the current shortage of new spares.

I have received an Hearing in regards to my Revocation. The date is set for December 21st, 2023 in Ontario. I have contacted the NFA and the CCFR. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Thank you

Get a lawyer. 1-800-265-0451 will assign duty counsel for you. You may wish to do some of your own research as duty counsel lawyers are more often than not terribly busy with law firm attachments. Even a bad lawyer is better than no lawyer.
