That is far less fun!
It is the OAL and front heaviness that makes it feel unwieldy, I must say pound for pound out of all my black guns it is the most unwieldy in feel. Which is not an issue for positional COFs, but not ideal for CQB situations.
For the fact that it doesn't even have any front mounting slots/rails, the front heavy penalty seems like all pain and no gain.
The same goes for the relatively significant POI shift due to the non-free floated HG, if it's more balanced like the C7A2, I would at least gripe less about the POI drift potential. Similarly if it's non-free floated but doesn't drift as bad and it has front mounting capabilities (e.g. APC), I would gripe less about the front heaviness.
I hear the better config is a carbine SA with converted NR 18.5" barrel, that's what I would pursue if I'm not gradually moving away from the SA platform to more modern platforms.
Regarding the x95, it's a fun close up and plinking toy. It might even be a decent choice as an "under the bed" indoor "zombie" gun, but I'm a bit weary of treating something as a primary country "walk about" gun knowing I am not 100% confident I can repeatedly place all shots in the zero zone of an IDPA target from 300m prone/supported. Which is just a medium distance.
Swiss Arms, but the flat top model. Adding optics high enough to clear the diopter sight to an already high mounted rail doesn't work out well unless you get the cheek riser as well.
If you have a restricted, the CQB model is the way to go. Less front heavy and still extremely accurate.
I have had a TAR-21 and they're fun but definitely not as accurate.
Surprised no one has mentioned the Swiss Arms trigger yet. So much better than the TAR-21, and I assume the X95 as well considering they share trigger components.

What do you want to do with it?
The X95 is not enough of an improvement to justify on top of already having a TAR 21.
Unless you absolutely love the platform, I suppose.
If you like iron sights and the sweet trigger, the SA is your baby.
Just plain stock on its' own, there is negligible weight difference.
Too many people think that they can not live without having rails and hundreds of things attached to their rifle.
Does one really need a ail for a garage door opener, cigarette lighter and electric can opener?
Then they complain about the weight of the rifle.
I actually recommend agaunst oprics on a SA.
As it is with irons, you are good to three hundred without much challenge.

My Swiss trigger feels meh with alot of over travel. Once I shim it it wont be to bad. Still pales in comparison to my other rifles that all have Geissele's or Timney's
Best advice yet, but if I am not mistaken OP has had a x39 ACR once before and dididn't care for it and actually sold it.
I am also spoiled by my experience with using the GA HS NM type crisp breaking point, and in comparison the SAN trigger is no match.
However we have to compare stock trigger to stock trigger, and stock triggers from Switzerland in general are not begging for upgrades, unlike IWI/AR/ACR stuff.

None of my stuff stays stock, so I always compare the platforms based on there fully upgraded potential.
Using your criteria, I would snobbishly rate triggers roughly as...
- Geissele HS NM trigger = Decent bordering on nice
- Other Geissele triggers = Ok, a little better than Meh
- SAN and APC stock triggers = Meh
- ACR and AR stock triggers = Sucks
- x95 and Tavor stock triggers = Disasters
Thanks for the responses everybody! A friend of mine owns a NR ACR and it is fun to shoot, but I really don't think I'm interested in buying one for my self. The Swissarms and the X95 are my two top picks. After hearing everyone's input I am leaning more towards the Swissarms. Does anyone know if the 5/30 round magazines they sell on Canada Ammo for $35 feed reliably? Or would one be best to buy original (and expensive) SIG 5/20 magazines for this gun?
What sort of 'out of the box' accuracy with decent ammo and from a bench can one expect from a SA?

I have used various kinds OEM and CanAm.
I find the translucent CanAm ones behave the same as the OEM. The black polymer ones fit not as loose (I won't call it "tight") but I don't find that a problem since SAN mags are not about "dropping free" anyway.
I think the CanAm ones are good to go.
The acceptance standard for the rifles is 10 shots fired into an 11cm square at 300m. The rifles used to ship with a test target to assure the buyer of the accuracy standard, but the latest rifles do not include this. The factory states the acceptance standards are unchanged though.
