Tavors at my local Canadian Tire.....

Best I can tell, it depend on who owns the store, and what demographic they have.

We have 4 Canadian Tires in my city. Of the 2 that I shop at, you will see different company names on the receipts.

The one in the North End, closer to the rural demographics, sells hunting rifles, and usually has more shooting supplies on the shelves all year round.
The one in the South end, closer to the urban demographics, does not sell hunting rifles, and only has all their shooting supplies out seasonally.

For example, I live in the South end, the kid has to go into the back warehouse to get me a box of clay or paper targets. North has them on the shelf all year round.

It seems the owners have a bit of choice as to what they want to sell. If you live in a more gun friendly area, I'm not surprised to see more options.

Sorry I mean the part of Ontario where people actually live lol

Canadian Tire in Barrie on 26 stocks firearms and twice as much ammo as any other CT I've seen. CT in Owen Sound stocks firearms and ammunition. CT in Stratford as well, including a Tavor.

Every CT in Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge stocks ammunition except the one on Weber st. CT in Collingwood stocks ammunition, including federal ammo cans of .223. CT in Burlington near the Burlington mall and CT in Oakville on Kerr st also sell ammunition. CT in Orillia and in Huntsville sell ammo too.

Every TSC I've been to sells ammo, including Collingwood, St Jacobs, Orangeville, Kitchener and Cambridge.

Walmart in St Jacobs/Waterloo, Walmart in Kitchener at the Sunrise Shopping Centre, and Walmart at the Fairview Park mall sell ammo. The newer one at bridgeport/weber might, but I haven't checked it out yet. Walmart in Collingwood also sells ammo.

Home Hardware in Elmira and Meaford sell ammo. I was told the Home Hardware in Burford stocks guns & ammo, but I haven't confirmed this.

Shockingly, people live outside of the GTA. A little joke like that caused me to scoff, and I grew up in Oakville.
