Yeah I don't know guys, it keeps chopping in there and keeps fraying so I'm not sure if it's going to stop or if it'll cause problems with the spring locking down later on down the road. Kind of sucks, this is a relatively brand new rifle.

I just looked at my rifle and there is some light scuffing from the cocking handle securing spring to the charging handle. Not as much as previously posted but it's there. It looks like the charging/cocking handle is smacking the spring as it goes forward.
So I put another 80 rounds through my rifle again yesterday and the groove on the handle is literally big enough that the spring doesnt contact it anymore. The spring still secures but is noticeably easier to disengage than previously.

Sooo... what happened with the North Sylva warranty issue? Inquiring minds would like to know what to expect from them.
Nothing has happened yet, I am currently in contact with IWI via email to see whether or not this is normal. Judging by the amount of pictures that I have seen with the same wear, I would imagine it's just a matter of tolerances on the length of the locking spring vs. the length of the charging handle. Took my rifle out once more and exclusively chambered and reloaded with the charging handle and have had no problems. The chipping seems to have stopped and the spring no longer contacts the handle when engaged.
As for the North Sylva bit, I was told that the charging handle is a wear and tear part of the rifle and not subject to warranty.

Question for the Tavor guru's, is the chamber 5.56 or actually .223? I would think 5.56 but you never know.

It's stamped .223 on the rifle, but from what I understand its 5.56
Part of Israel's export requirements from what I'm told. Has to be non-military caliber.
