This is a new gun to Jerry. One of the things that I have learned to expect from Mr. Miculek is that he's always the real thing and very unpretentious. Everyone knows him as a shooter but from watching a lot of his instructional DVD's that he is an excellent communicator. Give him a while with the Tavor and he will come across very differently. I subscribe to his You Tube channel and just watched several videos by his wife and his daughter Lena. They follow Jerry's pattern, easy to watch and very good communicators without the all too frequent BS attitude seen with others.

Don't get me wrong, I have admiration and respect for the man - but he could have/should have spent an hour or so with the rifle prior to that review.

Very true and sound advice. Jerry has also shown quite a few videos endorsing Vortex optics, I trust there warranty but I still wont run one on any of my rifles. But them again I'm not being sponsored.
