i am really happy with the way everything turned out. i have a mount i can look at and reflect back on for a long time.

There are many great taxidermists in western Canada that will conduct outstanding work such as your own. BUT! It's the "rack" that I set my eyes on. Saskatchewan has been and I hope will continue to be the whitetail/mule deer champions of North America. When I hunted in Southern Saskatchewan for whitetail as a Canadian-Resident between 1988 to 1998 in zone 9 and 10 I would see bucks of this caliber every year. Today I don't hunt the south but the northern part of the province.
It's amazing what Saskatchewan produces for deer, and today I cherish every minute of it for that one lone week, moreover, I'm most grateful that the province allows me to hunt the whitetail deer. Congradulations on a true monster buck and I know that you will continue to cherish that special moment.

I don't know if I will take an infraction for this, but it does take an artist turned taxidermist
to achieve the mount we all seek. The act of presentation, the mount, the establishing the head on the form and the overall achievement what we all are seeking and be willing to pay for is an art.
Some claim they can do this deed and others don't need to prove anything other than the presentation of their work. I have seen and been rewarded with the works of Diane Montgomery of Dawn til Dusk Taxidermy. Her work is a work of art.
Thank you Diane.

thanks for the kind words. i had a great fall hunting and hunted hard for what i got. i was lucky but i feel i created my own luck too. this is a special piece for me i had my dad with me for both of these animals. i wanted some thing more than a head on the wall and thats what i got. my taxidermist was keen on the idea and fallowed through, he says a head on a wall is just taxidermy but this was art.

i know they put alot of extra time in to this and it shows. they welded a rod that runs from the base up the branch and then moulded the "branch"around the rod that support both animals.

Gorgeous mounts and display. There is some phenomenal artists out there. Even though Alberta is no slouch, I still wish I could get my mule tags back in Saskatchewan. I still scout the old stomping grounds when I head home.
