Taylors and Co Revolving Carbine .357/9MM

Do these have a separate cylinder for 9mm. If so, would it be possible to get just a replacement cylinder for those of us that might already own one?

What are the chances of there being 45acp cylinders available for the 45 colt models?
I have one made by Cimmeron but it’s still an Uberti so should be compatable

They should make one with a 24” barrel and no stock
The rear of the frame is different from a actual handgun and that’s the only reason they are NR.

The taurus judge pistol grips and buttstock mounted the same way and that’s why it was restricted. These have a bolt that goes through the buttstock (like a shotgun) into the frame and that’s how they skirt R classification.

Couldn’t you install an 1873 back strap, trigger guard and grips on it though? No different than installing a pistol grip on a nr pump shotgun. I realize that it wouldn’t be non restricted anymore with an 18” barrel. I also realize that a 24” barrel would be dumb and impractical

I was thinking the other way..... 12" barrel and full stock.
:)
That might be better. They could get away with a 10” barrel probably and still be over. I have a heritage rancher 22 and it’s probably the worst gun I own. You can’t shoot it like a rifle because there is no forend. You have to hold it like a pistol with a stock and it’s hard to hold steady because of the long barrel. You get some gas escape through the cylinder gap like on any revolver but it’s closer to your face in a carbine and because you are tempted to try to hold it like a rifle, especially in 357 magnum, some people will end up with burns or at least soot on their left forearm.

Mine showed up today, really nice piece. Crazy fast shipping considering the strike (shipped Wednesday).
