Are they still for sale in Canada?

I went to the range today with my TC Contender Super 14 in 30-30, and it turned out to be a real head turner.
Nobody seems to know these pistols, and it became close to annoying to answer all the questions.

BTW this gun with a 14" barrel shoots as accurate or better than any hunting rifle.
Reloading is easy as well, 30grs of Varget topped with any 150grs bullet gives you top notch performance.

EPPs has them and the hardware, unfortunately for the Gen 2's. Gen 1's and barrels can be had on Gunbrokers.com.

Also Brownels maintains inventory for blinging them out with tactical folding stocks and other goodies. I agree they are head turners for the individuals who have never seen them before.

I've always wanted one. Good to hear that they are available from Epps. I see them on the EE every now and then. I'd like a new one though. Thanks for posting about them.

Always wanted one too. Have a couple friends who shoot them.

They always seemed just past what I was willing to pay. Cheapskate that I am. When they could be had for $400 and now still when the going rate seems to be around $750. I'll have to check on what Epps has.

Here are pictures:

Bought it from "Atlantic Ordinance" (who remembers this place?) over 20 years ago.

Eds contenders down in the USA! Great prices and service. One you have the frame buying barrels out of the US is best. Really pricey north of the border and they get scooped up pretty quick here at CGN. Murray Charlton is the most in stock in Canada that is have come acros...and he is straight shooter when it comes to service. Epps or Bashaw sports has them time and again but Murray usually has something in stock.

I just had the good fortune to spot a G1 online, in an estate sale. It just arrived yesterday with 9 barrels and a scope! I think my husband might be trying to "adopt" it as his. lol
Calibers:
44 Rem Magnum - super 14 barrel
7-30 Waters - super 14 barrel
30 Herrett (wildcat)
30 M1 carbine
45 Colt
30-30 Winchester
357 Maximum (NOT magnum)
22LR (2 barrels)

Now I can hardly wait to get a chance to get out and shoot them. We will be reloading for most, especially the wildcat.
I was at Epp's 2 days ago and they had nothing. I've been asking them if any contenders have come in for months, and nothing. Glad I spotted this gem on the web!

Good find. Let me know if you want to sell any of the barrels.

Note: you can shoot .357 magnum and .38 spl in the Maximum barrel.

That was disappointing about EPP's as I have purchased from them in the past. It was months ago but I noticed grips, stocks and a few barrels at the end of the isle near the ramp to go downstairs.

Absolutely, and I have 38 long colt and 38 short colt on hand as well - making that a 5 different cartridge barrel!

For the 44 Rem Magnum, I also have: 44 special, 44 Colt, 44 Russian and 44 Bulldog to shoot from it - another 5 cartridge barrel.
For the 45 Colt I also have 45 Schofield to shoot from it.

I have one with 7mm tcu and 22 hornet barrels :D Not that is a real accurate caliber! Nice to know I can deer hunt in a shtf scenario with a pistol haha.

Used barrel(s) are sometimes difficult to aquire and the costs associated with used barrel(s) are becoming rather expensive, in my view. I am always looking.

Don't know much about the Chargers, but love the Contender! I don't have room in the case for the other 6 barrels - they have to travel in a separate case.
Finally getting around to posting a picture!
