Just bought a TC in 223 and I am very happy with it.

Also picked up an 06 Springfield barrel for it the other day. The question I have is; if I sight my 06 barrel in and take it off for the winter, when next fall comes around will it hold its impact point or do people find it has to be sighted in again?

The answer I am hoping to hear is "slap the 06 barrel on the night before the hunt and head out the next morning."

Thanks,

Dave

I have 3 different barrel ( .300 win mag , .22-250 and .50 BP ) and because the scope is on the barrel/receiver i've never notice any move in the POI to make me miss a shot on game. On target is was very minimal.

I always check the sighting each time I change barrels. It usually isn't off by much (1" max @100yds) but it is never dead on. I use the Bellm oversize hinge pins and HD barrel latch springs so I have really consistent lock-up and it is still a little different each time you install a different barrel. 28" PH .223., 24" Encore .243 and 26" Encore 7mmRem Mag barrels.

The accuracy on all of my barrels have been near perfect after changing. The only one that was a tad off was my .22. It has iron sights and it's not that difficult to change when it's off by 1/2 inch.

I got a Prohunter , 25-06 and 375 H&H
It takes 4 round to ( Place it )
For an unknown reason, each time i switch it,
they were always firing 2.5 inch higher at 100 yards.
Each time i fire it, it drops by 3/4 inch closer to the original POI.
the round number 5 is right in the V-bull after it.
Usually, they dont required to be adjust much
Picture as reference.
Shot 1-2-3-4 and the number 5 is at the right place on the right black sqare,
the shot number 6 ( confirm it ) on the left black sqare.
