I will never buy a Thompson Center firearm anymore, period. After having worked in a gun shop for a year and a half and witnessing the shenanigans, lies, poor quality and lack of accountability Thompson Center displayed not only to me as a retailer but to their customers - never again. We ordered a smattering of the Pro Hunter FX models and of the eight or so that actually showed up, we sent six of them back as the barrels were rusted and the there was rust all over the receiver. We have yet to receive any replacement muzzle loaders (this was last June).
I also contacted Thompson Center four months ago to request a catalog for the store... After I got through, the response I received was, "Because you are a Canadian Dealer, we will cannot ship a catalog over the border. You will have to live with the on-line catalog." When I asked why Thompson Center cancelled the Hotshot and especially the Icon, I got a whole lot of "uh's" and "um's". When I asked to speak to someone who may have a bigger perspective on the situation, the guy on the line loosely covered the mic and muttered a question to someone nearby. As soon as the secret conversation was finished, buddy said that he was not authorized to pass me onto any higher authority.
At that point, I let goofy know my disgust for their customer service, lack of quality control, and my disdain for their treatment of the Canadian market. From that day on, I have deliberately gone out of my way to ensure any customers who inquires about TC anything see's the pictures on my phone of the rusted Encores, the Triumphs missing their sights, and the Dimension rifles that don't shoot worth snot.
But to answer your question, there may be a supplier that might have one somewhere - I can think of one that would probably even have it. Shoot, I just ordered the same rifle you are looking for in for a guy in 270 Winchester three weeks ago and in 204 Ruger about two months ago. On the flip side, there is a customer who has had a 243 barrel on order for two years and not one of our suppliers has gotten close to filling their back orders...
