Tc encore

Epps last time I checked. they're expensive.
I have a 20 gauge that will be with me until, death does us part. LOL
had a 12 gauge that when you put the base screws on, they would bulge in the rifling inside the barrel. when I contacted T/C , they said it was unsafe and a known issue with some of the 12 gauge barrels. the 20 gauge stainless was the warranty replacement and I love it. I still have the base and forearm for a 12 gauge barrel. I plan on try another some day, just have a hard time spending 600$ + on one........

Yikes that is expensive and you still need to buy the forend. I have a Remington 870 express with a slug barrel but have never shot it but would need to put a scope on it. Don't know anything about the action mounts if they are any good or not.

not only the forend, the scope base is different on the 12 gauge barrels as well and very hard to find and expensive..........
I need one.......... LOL

they've sold a bunch because I remember when they first got them in, I think they had 6, down to 1 now. I seem to remember they had a few 20 gauge barrels as well but none now.
if my wife had been working the last 6 months, I would have grabbed one for sure. but money's been tight and will have to wait for now.

when I had a redfiled revolution with accu-range reticle, I used one of the hash marks for a 200yard zero at around 6-7 power and target practiced at that range and would put all shots in a 8" pie plate. never measured groups just would keep them in that pie plate, if I had to guess it would have been grouping around 6" give or take with hornady sst's. I now have a bushnell 3500 elite on it with med talley rings and bases (like all my barrels now) and have it sighted in at 115 yards and use that as my aiming point from point blank to 150 yards and it's a few inches high at 50 yards and about 3-4" low at 150yards.
never did try out the 12 gauge barrel I had, as soon as I put the base on I noticed the bulging in the barrel from the base screws and called T/C and they told me it was unsafe and not to use it. I shipped it out that day and waited 6 or so months until I said I'd take the 20 as a warranty replacement.
