So, I just picked up a set of Flex Tech Encore Pro Hunter stocks for my
209x50. I was wondering if anyone (from experience) can compare these to TC's non-Flex tech stocks. The website says that they reduce recoil by 43%.
Now on my old buttstock I installed a Limsaver recoil pad which worked great, I was just wondering if anyone has any comparison to share.

43% sounds reasonable. Definitely makes a 150 grain load feel more like a 100 grain load. Pretty cool technology.

My biggest curiousity is how well it'll tame the recoil of a .300WM or a .338WM?
With my old stock it would feel like someone was drop kicking me in the side of the face every time pulled the trigger (.300 WM bbl).

Recoil is recoil and if it tames a muzzleloader 43%, I'm sure you could say the same about a centrefire. Encores are kicking sons of guns and there is no doubt this stock was long overdue. I've got Prohunters in calibres from .17-.416 and this new stock technology is a great improvement.
