TC Icon Precision Hunter

I have heard they are very accurate. They aren't as popular as Remington, Savage and others in that price range. I was thinking of a Savage model 12 VLP DBM, also a very accurate rifle. I'm leaning towards the TC though, I prefer how compact it is, 22in barrel. Thanks for the advice and anymore you can offer.
Being a TC fan I keep an eye on who carries their products. On my current list are:

I'm sure I've missed a few. Be warned.. production of T/C stuff has been slow since they closed their original factory in NH and moved to S&W's plant in Mass. just last year. I haven't seen any word on whether quality has suffered but w/the MOA guarantee I kinda doubt they'll slouch on quality.

I have a TC Icon Weather shield in 22/250 Here's my thoughts after a year of ownership:
1. It Is Heavy With my scope 6-24 4000 bushy I am at the 10lb mark /with the light barrel
2. Magazines are a a little tight to get third round in + I seem to be shaving the feed lips off a little each time I put the third round in (just a little)
3. Bolt lift is stiff compared to a twin lug design like a savage. Somewhere around twice the force required to open the bolt (guesstimate)
4. The trigger is the best trigger I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. Mine breaks at an estimated 2-2.5lbs. Its both clean and crisp. Fantastic trigger.
5. It is the most accurate rifle I have ever shot. I get sub MOA with the cheapest ammo (winchester white box 45 grn) at 100 yards.
6. The weathershield stock is stiff, and also very grippy. Its almost sticky.
