I shoot 165s out of mine.......but you could load it with any .30 cal you load the .308 with. A bit more speed than the .308 and still short action.....nothing revolutionary but a good solid calibre!
I'm just saying that the orig. 30TC was compared to 150gr 30-06 ballistics and that the 30TC has one up. I know what your saying though

Actually it was compared with 150 and 165.....factory loads......virtually identical ballistics to the .30-06.....a bit faster than the .308.
Been shooting lots of video this fall......
