tc venture bluing

hey guys i'm looking into a used tc venture... how good is the bluing on this gun? after a hunt i always clean and oil them but sometimes they end up in my truck for a few hours while traveling... i'd rather not have to take the stock off after every rain. let me know what you think!

My .270 hasn't 'gone off' on its own, but the safety won't engage most of the time. I like it, its accurate, nice to handle, great clip....just somewhat unsafe.
