I picked up one of these rifles and am hoping to get out and actually test it out but the weather has gone sour and I don't feel like freezing my nuts off. Since I can't shoot mine this weekend I was wondering if any one else has bought one and given it a good work out ?

Any reports on the TC venture out there ?
 
I have one. 30-06 with a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40. I have shot 40 or so rounds through it so far and I love it. With a cool barrel, the gun will easily stay inside the MOA claim. I have put 5 shots in a 3/4" group a couple times, and I'm not what I call a great shot. Like a lot of guns though, shoot a few through it fast and get the barrel hot, and the shots will start to drift a bit.
I only got mine early this winter, so I haven't had it long enough to beat it around in the woods yet, but the gun works nice(not as smooth as something that might cost $2000, but still nice), it shoots good, and seems like it will be pretty comfy to carry.

I thought it was supposed to have a 24 inch barrel.
but it's a 22 inch.
I reload and i have tryed about 12 receipies, and most of them are well inside the 1 moa range.
Recoil if very pleasant,
Yesterday i've compare the recoil to my Tikka T3 25-06.
And i was surprise to notice there's almost no difference, ( Almost )
The 25-06 seems to have a faster recoil.
- Venture: Bolt strong and tight.
The trigger was a bit crispy, but the coton wheel made the job.........
For me , It's a GO !!!!
I have some Savage, Tikka, Sako, Remmy, CZ, Win
and this little Venture is a real bargain for the price.
60 degree bolt lift, three lug,
Clip mag, accurate, light, good handling, rubber grip.

lol I'm in the middle of a hunt for one of these in 22-250. Where did you guys get yours? Does one of the supporting dealers have them?

all at 2.800 COL.
IMR 4350 / 47.4gr/ 210m / 2690 fps/ 0.6 moa IMR 4350 / 47.4gr/ 215m / 2795 fps/ 0.75 moa

IMR 4350/ 48.8gr / 210m / 2840 fps / 0.7 moa IMR 4350 / 48.4gr / 215m / 2825 / fps / 1.0 moa

Just called them right now and they are out of stock. He says that there is some one new at there exporting office and it my be some time before he can get 1.

I hope I can get 1 of these sweet rig's in time for the fall hunt. It does look sweet though.
