Is it a .50 or a .54? The 54 had a 1 in 48" twist and the .50 had a faster rate. Around here traditional style muzzleloaders do not sell that well, unless they are cheap.

I have one in 50 and they shoot great ,90gr 2f with a Hornady 250 gr sst sabot/bullet, nice and light to carry . They are best in the bush just like a 30/30
