I had a T/C Benchmark .22LR. Most (5 shot) groups were under 0.75"
@ 50M. using Federal Gameshock.
No problems with feeding unless I let it go more than about 400 shots without cleaning...which is pretty easy.
I bedded where the action screws go through the stock. The only complaint I had was the creep in the trigger which I think is typical of many semi autos. No local gunsmiths would touch the trigger on the TC.
If I were in the market for a new semiauto .22, I would not hesitate to buy another TC. The TC will cost you about the same as it would to get a 10/22 and rebarrel it...and even then, will probably shoot better.
I sold mine to a buddy and he is very happy with it....no gopher under 100M is safe.
I had a Laminate/Stainless for a year or so. It was everything a semi should be, right out of the box! Absolutely ZERO complaints with that gun. All steel, no aluminum, fit and finish were outstanding...the cun felt like a custom. Mine shot under 1/2" at 50 with most ammo I fed it.
They do like to be kept clean, but really, its a great rifle out of the box. Crisp light trigger, great laminate stock on the heavy barrel, drop free mags.
