I am posting this for the match organizer,Paul W.For those who have attended these matches before
and for all those who are interested.....This is a fun day of shooting!
THIS is for those of you who want to test out or prove those tac drivers you've been working on!!!
The targets are set up so that :
you will shoot your "bank" of 15 targets at 100 yrd, which then are moved back to 200 to be shot again and finally
they are moved to 300yrds. In the end you will have 3 shots for score on each of the 15 targets.
A NO stacking rule applies ( you cannot shoot more than 1 shot on each target at any given yardage.)
Generally after the match ends and the scorekeepers are doing their thing,(generally takes some time
as they are double checked scored) we usually have "side matches" for those that are interested so bring extra ammo.
(side match example: everyone who is in throws 5 bucks in the kitty.A range is chosen (generally 300yrds )
5 shots for either high score or smallest group is set. Match winner takes cash in pot minus club target costs.....
Lunch is included (generally some nice tube steak sausages)
The firepoint is covered so it's a go rain or shine ,the floor is concrete (the hard kind) so shooting mats recommended, and spotters
are welcomed to coach shooters and keep them on track.Rifles with brakes are welcomed and we will try and squad all those together
away from non braked quiet rifles....
The following is a copy of Paul's Poster. He can be reached by phone or email.
You've got plenty of time to get ready......Maybe let Paul know you're coming so he orders enough food and targets.

You will need 45 rounds for actual match, and I would suggest at least 15 rounds to sight in.
Optional "After match matches"...what we do while waiting for the scoring crew to total everything up
could add an additional 10 or 20 rounds plus depending on how much you wanted to participate....
So I would suggest a minimum of 60 rounds and for more fun bring an additional 20 or so.
Having too much ammo is generally not a problem, not having enough..... always is.
The biggest complaint I've heard about these matches is that Paul doesn't schedule enough of them.

G
