Well I shot the TDSA AP1 course on the weekend of the May 26/27.The course starts at the basic's and moves up with the subjects like grip, trigger squeeze, stance, etc. The two instructors are Scott Little (he's the local guy) and Len the Texan. Both have alot of experience and are able to get the course content across to the students. The course seemed to offer something to both advance and begining shooters. The staff at Silverdale were excellent and they put forth a tremendous effort to have the course run smoothly and provide all the necessary "kit" for the students.
Overall I was very pleased with the staff, course and the club. Most of the students saw a 50% improvement from when they started and the average round count for the 2 days was 1000
. The second installment is the AP2 which includes rifle and shotgun.
Contact Silverdale for course POC's and dates. The Silverdale TDSA club will be up and running over the next several months.
