Team Hoser January match

I wish I could have made the match, I'm hoping to try out my "Ultimate Hi-Point" sometime.

It's worth every penny of the $4,300 MSRP I tell you

I'm good to go! Unfortunately I couldn't get my hands on the 180rd drum mag that CMMG were toying with back in 2012, so I had to go with 26rd mags loaded to 24... On 667's advice, I'm bringing 12 mags to shoot the match, thus doubling the recommended capacity!

Wow, this was a blast! Safe, smoothly run, fun and challenging stages! My thanks go out to Team Hoser, GRGC and my fellow competitors for making it happen!

That NEA upper really did me in with stoppages, plus I got a bit confused with that left shoulder thing (gotta practice that), along with the brain fart on the steel, I don't expect to do well score-wise, but if I get another chance to shoot a Team Hoser match, I'm coming out and hopefully having at least half as much fun as this time around :)

Thanks to all who braved the cold to come out to shoot.... It wasn't really that cold was it?

Scores are>>>>HERE

One thing I learned today is that there a great bunch of shooters in Ontario and I am lucky to call many my friends. Thanks for all the shooters and my fellow team Hoser's for a great day.

Good to see you today Pete, let me know when you are up for some yote hunting!

Thanks for posting them up so quickly! Going over the final times and the competition, this is the first match I ever shot where equipment issues or major brain farts didn't cost me a spot in the division. Would have just had a much more respectable time lol

Another good shoot , some challenging angles . Wish i would have time too shoot Rim/Carbine also , makes it a interesting course .. Thanks Team Hoser .

I was a bit surprised and very impressed that the carbines scored much
Better than the pistols. Thanks for the match.

I'm not.. This wasn't a really short distance plate knockdown contest :) The match was pretty technical for pistols and you really had to be on the ball to make a clean run. It's a lot easier to get a good sight picture and make sure you're on target with a long gun. That's why the only long guns getting into the pistol territory time-wise were the ones having major malfunctions. On that note, I verified last night that it was really the NEA 22lr upper and no issues with the lower/trigger - shot about 200-300rds out of my 223 upper without a single light strike, plus I made sure to practice a bit of left-handed shooting
