Has anyone bought a Tech Sight TS200? I would prefer to buy in the US but if there is a Canadian supplier who doesn't want to take my pants down I will buy up here. Failing that, does anyone know who in the US would ship here? I almost ended up in Levenworth yesterday bringing a Monte Carlo stock across the line. The US border plods dont know their own laws so I dont want to take a chance spending christmas singing Silent Night in a cozy US prison. Any ideas? If anyone has used one do you like it? I have no interest in scoping it, i really like the idea of the rear sight mounted way back like the TS200 is. thanks in advance guys.........;)

I have the TS100. I was going to get the 200 but as I see it the adjustable front sight on the SKS makes zeroing the 100 pretty easy. Personally I love it! Best addition to the rifle. It will give you a better sight picture and for sure increased accuracy. If you install it carefully according to the instructions it should return to zero reliably. Mine does. My rifle is in an aftermarket synthetic stock and I did have to trim a bit of stock material at the rear tang to accommodate the sight. Nothing serious, about 2 minutes work with the dremel tool.

Where did you get the sight from? Sounds like an easy installation, thats good. I have no interest in putting a scope on this carbine, it just doesn't do it for me. But the TS100 and TS200 are just what I am looking for. so thanks for the info, if you could just let me know where you bought it, that would be great. thanks again.....

I went to the Tech sight website, they dont ship to Canada. I remember reading the US and Canadian import/export stuff that there is something about buying optics. not sure if iron sights fall into this category. I think I'm probably going to be stuck using the original sights. I might try an ad on the EE forums.

I ordered mine direct from tech sites as well. I just got it less than a year ago so I would try it and see what happens. It's just a set of sights. Hardly terrorist weaponry!

Any one interested should email them about shipping to Canada and maybe after a hundred or so emails they will reconsider....
