Hey I've got tech sights on my 10/22, and would like to add a holographic or red dot sight to work with them, anybody here done this already, or any ideas on how to do it?

I rather easily got a Fakepoint to co-witness with Tech-Sights atop a Tapco-clad 10/22.......it's one of the best combos I've had the pleasure to "operate"....:D

Cyclone, did you need the rails on the stock to set up the optic? And kaszebe, sorry but I got mine from the company, beauty of a sight tho if you can find one

I think cyclone's setup has the fakepoint attached to the tapco stock rail. It's a convenient setup, but the fakepoint zero may change because it's attached to the stock, not the receiver or barrel of the gun.

I think tech sights are really neat, but I'd prefer them to produce a set consisting of the front sight, a rear picatinny rail, and a rear sight designed to be mounted to the picatinny rail. This way we could have both the sights and a convenient option for a reddot.

As of now you could think about sawing a 10/22 base in half and mounting it only to the two front receiver screw-holes, but it's not particularly ideal.

darn, i've found some rail set ups that mount on a .920 inch barrel. any knowledge of something similar for the standard sporter barrels?
