Tech sights for the SKS

In this thread, the Williams peep which replaces the regular sight is mentioned. IMH-old-O, a peep must be as close as possible to the eyeball, otherwise, all that you have is a rear sight with a hole in it rather than a V.

That is exactly correct.

I love the TS-200 on my SKS. Coupled with the Williams Firesight front it is extremely fast and considerably more user friendly than the original sks sight (with the peep so close and that bright red dot out front I would dare say that it is nearly as fast as having a red dot on the rifle). The only hiccup I've had with the TS-200 is that I couldn't get it low enough at first. After a few e-mails with the owner of the company I re-adjusted the allen screws and the problem was solved.

You won't regret getting a TS-200
