What kind of accuracy are you getting with the 527 Kevlar varmint models in .223?I was looking at one at Prophet River this afternoon,and I am considering buying one.The trigger was a little creepy,but supposedly,it is easy to adjust to eliminate the creep.

My 527 Kevlar shoots 69gr SMK's sub moa, will do the same with every bullet I have tried heavier than 50gr and lighter than 75gr. Hasn't liked 75 Amax's, not enough twist, absolutely sprays 45's but anything else will shoot great with a little playing aroung with powders and charges. It's a very easy satisfying rifle to load for because eveything works from 55 to 70 once you find the right powder and load. Have shot some sub .40 groups with the 7ogr bergers but have only tried a few.

The shop I work at just got a 550 in 7x57 that has a PLASTIC floor plate. I cried a little.
i own a cz 550 full stock in 308 taken a couple deer with it now and love it, i also own a tikka t3 in 6.5 swede aside from the plastic on the t3 i realy dont know which make i like better CZ and Tikka have a few now and i know you will be happy with a cz
My 06 had a plastic follower, but it never caused a bit of a problem. My 375 is metal and the kevlar has metal followers in the detachable mags. The mag lips are a bit tight and do mark up the brass a bit in the first shot of a full mag. That said I still love these rifles. Th 375 has quickly became on of my favorites of all time.

Not quite. Both Brno and CZ were state owned originally. Brno was a large industrial complex making many things from typewriters to ag tractors. Brno went bankrupt in 2003. CZ was actually making quite a few of the guns marketed as Brno before the end

My first one was a CZ452 American. I liked it so much I sold my Ruger No 1 223 and replaced it with a CZ527 American 223. Damn things are just so pleasant to shoot and accurate to a tee. Got my 452 dialed in at 100m and can chew the bull out of a target that far out. I use CCI Minimags and on their website they recommend zero at 100yds. One of the easiest guns to find in leftie bolt too. Sure do like the looks of these little beauties and the MiniMauser on the 527 is a beautiful action. And I have a rimfire and centrefire rifle that weigh in at the same. The set trigger on the 223 is a nice touch too. No safe queens either.

I have a CZ 550 and would not hesitate to buy another.
Based on my own real life experience I have found it to be a well made and accurate rifle. The wood on mine while not fancy is not really plain either, rather nice really. Not sure about this plastic stuff, I do know that mine is all steel.
Kind of looking at a 6.5x55 myself....

Am only personally familiar with their 452 line of rimfires. Have looked at and admired their centerfires but don't own one. My 452 American rimfire is an extremely well made rifle and if the 550s are as good you absolutely can't go wrong.
