Well, what manufacturer's offer them? Which is best, etc etc.
I know nutting about them, educate me sweeties...:D

i like the lyman universal tool. you can unthread it from its handle and chuck in cordless drill. it has the tapered bushing that adjusts to any calibre/ any lenth. i have used rcbs but you have to buy a piliot for every calibre. i think i paid about $18. when doing lots of cases the power option is nice.

Thanks sounds nice. I use a small drill press to trim my cases so be nice to use it for deburring as well.

I use RCBS and had Lyman before. IMO RCBS is a better set and pilots make stem more center. My self I will not use anything by my hands to work on cases. It takes longer, but you have better results and learn more.

I Think that Sinclair make the best one.
www.sinclairintl.com see #db1000

I think the Sinclair is hand over fist better than either the Lyman or RCBS, and costs about the same. It is also more precise, since it does not depend upon uniform case length to do the deed. The Sinclair actually references off the case web inside the case. The Lyman is one cheap POS IMHO. When using it, the shaft is so soft, it is prone to bending in the handle.

Just curious, can someone tell me how much accuracy is improved by deburring the flash hole? I've often wondered.

Depends on who you ask. I've never done the double blind taste test. I went from F/L resizing, trimming & deburring only, right to flash hole deburring, primer pocket uniforming & case neck turning, all at once. My results were that averages of 1.5 MOA in 7mm-08 shrunk to less than .5 MOA, and I eliminated the really nasty flyers that made me look like I had a severe flinch with pie plate sized groups due to the flyer.

I did all the fancy prep for a while and in my hunters I really didn't notice any difference except for the time spent reloading.

I bought a good set from sinclair Along time ago!!!!!!!!
Large and small deburring, pocket uniformers, and hole uniformers, I could only guess how mant thousands af rounds? and there like new.

When I was a poor, starving, beginner reloader:p , i could always find the right sized bit in the drill index to debur some flash holes. If you want to try before you buy, that is.

I use a Lyman, works well. I've found a very helpfull use for it when dealing with Igman 6.5X55 Swedish brass. The flash hole on these are smaller than conventional brass, so I just ream out the hole (from the inside of course) before I decap them, a cheap source of plinking brass.
