Tell me about Tanfoglio Combat pistol in 10mm

cons,...10mm ammo and/or brass. Pro's,...you can use .10mm mags in your tanfoglio .40 large frame. get the L in .40,..it is similiar in heritage to the Limited custom .40...so if you want you could "supe" it up with go-fast goodies. (magwells, grips, firing pins, etc..)

Got mine today. f**king CP... Anyway the gun is pretty nice, well machined and everything is tight. DA trigger isn't the greatest but SA is good. The recoil spring is light. I'd guess 13-14 lbs. Way too low for the hot stuff. I ordered a recoil kit from Wolff, I won't be shooting the gun until I get a heavier spring in it. Overall I am happy with the gun.

4.5" bbl "Combat" model. Freedom's look black while mine looks matte stainless. I can take some pics but I am a s**tty photographer.

What appear to be scratches in pic 3 are just dust flecks made visible by the flash.

Let me know how she runs once you've swapped out the recoil spring.:)

It feels bigger but not much. I'll post a review when I get it out but Wolff said my stuff won't get shipped until next week. It may be a while. I might load some ammo closer to .40 S&W specs to get it out sooner. I am anxious to use it:D.

Got it from Arms East. It was a little more $$ but it worked out for me pretty well. I didn't know Freedom had that sale, I don't browse the dealer section much. I am thinking of picking up another though...

I have the "L" model with a .40cal top end. Runs great. The D/A pull can be tamed with a lighter mainspring. I have over 5K of 9MM & 40 through the gun with no problems. I actually prefer the grip on the Tanfoglios over the CZ.

Take Care

Bob
