So I want a Leo Sunshade for my VXII 40mm.

They list one for Pre 04 models and Post 04 models...?
Any way to tell the diff ? model number I guess but who to ask ? besides Leo ? they aren't too speedy responding to e-mail it would seem:rolleyes:

I bought mine in 04 so it could go eitherway I guess...just have No clue as to the differences

Thanks for any help :)

I've also been looking at the sunshades for my vxII. BUT, i noticed that it lists them as being for scopes with AO only.
Any idea, what differences AO and non AO scopes have at the end of the scope that dictates this?
I was just gonna go and get the vented sun-shade/screen instead from natchez.

Will, if your's is a VXII then it is a post "04...........the vari series is the pre '04.

LFOD, the AO is the Adjustable objective or the paralax adjustment on the end of your scope!

Hope this helps!

Yeah, I know what it stands for, I was just curious as to why the sun shades were listed as being for scopes with AO only. I think I figured it out though, i'm guessing that AO scopes have threaded ends on the scope for the shades to screw into, while non-AO scopes dont have any threading on the end.
