I was wondering of you guys have temporary camo tricks for your guns? Iike artificial snow ( Christmas tree snow) camo???

something that could be apply to your gun and easley remove?

There's stuff that looks like tensor bandage and comes with different patterns on it. I have a roll or two that I haven't used, I can't remember where I picked it up from, probably the states.

You could try dyeing some burlap white to achieve that Russian WWII bad ass sniper look.

I think I seen something similar at the canadian tire, must be hard to do a good job on ar's 'rfb and other tactical guns?

In the Army we simply used cutup white tube socks (usually from your buddies Barracks box when he was silly enough to leave it unlocked) on our C7's and the odd guy found white electrical tape and really went to town.

These days you can buy killer camo tape even in digital, can't recall the make but there are some nice temporary kits out there.

Try different colours of vet wrap. You can usually get it at farm supply stores. It sticks to it self and leaves no residue when it is removed. I used it on my rifle in the winter, I get the zebra pattern to break up the outline of the rifle.

The camo tape is McNett Camoform. I have some and it's fantastic! It is actually the same stuff as the vet wrap but comes in about 9 different camo patterns. It's not cheap but it's washable and reuseable. I bought mine on ebay but Cabela's has it too. It's about $20 a roll.

Any socks in my barracks box are covered in my DNA. What's wrong with you? You haven't been in long enough to learn not to touch another man's socks. Be careful you don't get pregnant, I can be potent.

I'm surprised you don't have white gun-tape. OP if you use white gun-tape just know you may have a filthy sticky mess to clean up after if you leave it on for a long period of time.... just like using my socks....
Krylon is an ok way to go as well.

Go grab some cans of plasti-dip.

When the season is over, pull it off and re-spray.

They have camo kits available that come with 5 colors...

go down to the fabric store and get a yard of snow camo fabric and wrap it around the gun. way cheaper than a gun sock and works just as good. use white hockey stick tape to keep it on and cover the small parts.
