Temporary export gun permit to New Zealand?

Hey Guys,
I am heading to NZ for a Red Stag and Tahr in May. 2 of the party of 4 of us heading have got some kind of temporary gun export permit to take our guns with us. Anyone know what form I need to fill out? I heard it was this one:

from the guys at the boarder, apparently we need to fill this out for any hunts out of country? Anyone know more? I got all kinds of different responces from RCMP gun registry, and no one seems to be one hundred % sure what is needed. Cheers, will post pics of the beasts once they are down, Dave

Make sure your flights don't touch in US territory, you can't take your guns on a plane that touches down in the US even as checked baggage.

Such the process. I think I finished it. had to send a copy of registration+PAL+airplane ticket. Filling out the form wasnt easy either. However its one step in the right direction, thanks for the tip about the US.
