Well the "Canadian version" will likely be prohib by the end of the year. The clowns in Public Safety and the RCMP never rest.
Any pics with some 5/30 AR-15 magazines inserted?
Was the same for me. Brass drifts and hammerThere is a video where they say they are working on a railed fore end but nothing else on it I could find. The rifle it self is a pita to assemble and disassemble new out of the box, mine needs a hammer and brass drift to get the front trigger group pin in and out, same issue with the Allen head pin that holds the trunnion in place. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.
Carrier is attached to the action barsIs the bolt carrier meant to be attached to the action bars or not?
Mine isn't, it sits on the bars sort of like in a Remington 870. It is difficult to keep it in place when assembling the rifle.Carrier is attached to the action bars
Yes exactly. I should have been more specific. It’s not permanently attached but it moves with the bars.Mine isn't, it sets on the bars sort of like in a Remington 870.
In one of the Australian videos they point out that it is pinned to the bars and is not removable from the bars. I wonder why the difference?Yes exactly. I should have been more specific. It’s not permanently attached but it moves with the bars.
Interesting. In one of the Australian videos they point out that it is pinned to the bars and is not removable from the bars. I wonder why the difference?
Shows the bolt carrier as being pinned to the bars at ~9.57mins in.
Nice — price and availability? Any range reports (accuracy at 100 yds, recoil feel) or photos of the receiver/bolt?Just landed! The new .223 Rem gas operated semi-automatic Chimera rifle. Get them now while they are still available.
Yes! It takes STANAG and other AR-15 pattern magazines.
The firearm ships with a 18.5-inch barrel (quick twist rate 1:8, thread pitch 1/2×28), two standard 5/10 AR-magazines, includes a Picatinny rail on the receiver, muzzle brake, cleaning kit.
As the Chimera PB-223 makes its Canadian debut, it promises to address the evolving needs of precision, ergonomics, and modularity in rifle design. NOTE: this is not the Australian push-button version, but instead a standard semi-automatic.
This is a Non-Restricted Firearm

Hi Josh, welcome to CGN.Nice — price and availability? Any range reports (accuracy at 100 yds, recoil feel) or photos of the receiver/bolt?
No idea where the reference for a Magpul stock came from.I see the above references to Magpul stocks for the Chimera. Have they expressed some intention to produce them ?
I'd be interested - I have the Federation Firearms aftermarket stock, but the Celik fore end is meh.
I emailed Celik to ask if they are aware of aftermarket fore ends, and the email bounced repeatedly.
