Yes they were and I invested in a few. I'd search them over for the best ones, keep a couple and sell the rest. I also gave many away to friends and family. If they didn't have a PAL I would gift them a PAL course for Christmas and after they finished the course, with PAL in hand, I would give them an SKS and a half crate of Czech ammo.
