Tension a HiPower sear spring?

Hi there.

can someone explain to me how to make a sear spring in a HiPower more tensioned?

or, if this is not possible, and a new spring must be put in, can you tell me so?

One time on a machine gun range I watched a Weapons Tech adjust the trigger bar on a Browing 7.62 C1 machine gun. We'd been having problems with the gun and it wouldn't time properly. I expected him to open up a new part fresh out of the 1944-dated milspec moisture sealed paper envelope and magically it would be right back in spec. Nope. He pulled the trigger bar out, and slid one end into a hole on the cooling jacket. Leaned down to change the angle, inspected and reinstalled.

After that demonstration I learned that gunsmithing is about small steel parts dancing together. Sometimes they need percussive therapy. Bending is a legit' exercise, because you don't always need a new part to make the gun work better.
 
while I'm at it.
the transfer bar ..or "teeter totter" that presses down on the sear when pushed by the upward motion of the trigger bar,
is it supposed to have a spring under it that keeps it in the.."off" position?

I don't think there is enough room inside the slide for a spring. The bar is a disconnector; the little trigger pusher has nothing to push upon and the sear is absolutely safe until the slide closes completely,

thats whats confusing me so much..

since this is the case, what could be causing the sear to disengage when closing the slide, and SOMETIMES, not always.
thats even more strange. it's random. not consistent..

it's got me spooked and pissed haha

The transfer bar on the MkIII's are spring loaded for the firing pin block. MkII's do not have this.
