Teslong Borescope

The Teslong borescope comes in a couple of models, one that's rigid, the other flexible. I have both but use the flexible one most. The flexible Teslong is the best buy. It can be plugged into a laptop (probably other devices, too).

The focus can be adjusted by turning the mirror on the threaded end. There's a collar to tighten the mirror in position. The light level can be adjusted as well.

At bottom is an example of an image taken with the Teslong.

A borescope can't reveal how a barrel will shoot. Barrels with apparent flaws or imperfections in the bore may shoot as well as those without. Without testing by shooting, performance remains unknown. But noted above, they can tell the user about the effectiveness of cleaning.

It should be noted that the borescope can pick up any debris left in the barrel as a result of cleaning, including bits of thread from patches.

Yeah, definitely spend more on cleaning products. But easy to see what works and what doesn't. Have also saved money being able to have a look down the bore on ftf deals with toasted barrels that look 'shiny'

They are a great tool bit one needs to know exactly what they are looking at
Before and after cleaning photos.
My rigid Trleslong can be focused for very clear pictures but it is only 26" long. The flexible shaft model can be used to go from the muzzle and look at a fired case as it sits in the chamber.

I've looked thru a Hawkeye and it was not ANY better then my Teslong MS450-NTC :)
I owned a Hawkeye at one time and sold it for the same reason , it was very expensive.
However, when the connection on my flexible Teslong went on the blink, I couldn't find the part I needed, so got the rigid model for Christmas.
Lo and behold, the connections are the same , so I can use either camera now!

I got a Teslong about 7-years ago ($77 tx-in) and it came with a 36" 'semi-rigid' 1st section (going in) then a junction to a 52" section going to the USB/mini conn. Now I don't think they come with that 2-piece format - the extra length lets me connect to a laptop 'away from' the gun-bench. Here's a 2018 Marlin 795 I just got last week, the bore is just as shiny as 'new' - likely just a couple hundred rounds fired.

Ordered one of these on impulse from Amazon. $74.95. Very pleased with it - it is a useful tool, not a toy, images are clear.
I see where you mention this being a long version for muzzleloaders....on the Amazon site I see one noted compatible with I Phone 16 for a little more money ( model NTG 100-C ) being 45 inches long...what do you use to view the images ?????
