Test firing an old shotgun

Notice the action opened on it's own on the second shot. The action is not properly fitted or the tolerances are outside safe guidelines.

Properly refitting the action on a break action gun is cost prohibitive on this grade of gun.

That gun needs to be taken out of service permamently.

That old gun aint worth the 2 low brass target loads i put through it!!!!
Ummm, hench the reason i pulled the target from a remote area about 12 feet way.
Had a model 84 cooey do that once and it was the tension spring inside that held the action closed, installed a NEW one from western gun parts, had an awesome gunsmith check it over, and it shoots like a dream! but this one in the video wasent worth the squirt of WD-40 it took to loosen it up, and i assure you it wont be able to be shot again.
