Test your P320 and post results

Mine passed the test but I do have an aftermarket trigger ;)



Isn't the issue that the weight of the trigger itself will have enough weight to continue moving rearward when the momentum of the gun has stopped after hitting the ground? In one of the slow mo vids you could see the trigger continuing to travel after the gun had stopped.
 
I'm not sure that's the best test, though, From what I understand, the issue does not arise from the end of the pistol being struck, but rather from the trigger's tendency to keep moving rearward due to its inertia when the pistol is dropped with a muzzle-up orientation. Most aftermarket triggers should be less susceptible, I'd think, as they have generally less mass than the factory trigger and subsequently less inertia.

I get the general impression that Sig is losing it... meanwhile, I see that Glock has a tweet out that says "Before you drop that 320, pick up a Glock."

Glock seem to have a general hate on for Sig since they lost the military contract. It started by Glock demanding that tests were not completed etc.
 
I doubt that there will be many takers for dropping their P320 in the orientation required by the latest drop tests (not the flat-sided drop).
