I think this is also being blown out of proportion as well. Like everything these days on the interwebs.
That would be the guys who DESIGNED THE GUN admitting it's flawed. Uncotrolled home testing and the very small sample size means nothing. ALL 320 pistols are defective and unsafe.

Remington didn't have a safety issue on the 700, rather, America is full of inept people in a litigious environment.
Basically, muzzle control and keeping your finger off the trigger make the 700 safe. Every version of the 700 ever made.
I believe the 2002 incident involved a SIG 220 and the article was referring to all reports of SIG firearms firing when dropped.. If that isn't the case then yes the claim is bogus as the 320 was introduced in 2014.
