Did some velocity testing with D4895 and 6BR, obviously some were way over pressure, I know..

50 deg C is pretty hot for the top end. I would guess most powders would be faster up there.
 
How has the comparison between cleanings??
Was the varget FAR CLEANER??

Cool test, varget is great. Love those extreme blend hodgdon came out with. Like this powder for hunting application's

I have not cleaned with the D4895 yet, but I found D4350 quite dirty. These powders are excellent hunting powders and cheaper powders for practice. But I’d run them in a competition if I had to, ES/SD’s are good enough I don’t think it would hold you back.
 
I found the D4895 to be a very good powder. Comparable to Varget. Wish I had bought some more.

I am happy to see your results. I bought 5 lbs when they sold out of D4350 (very happy with it), but I have yet to try the 4895.
