I did read it.
I should have clarified that the above statement was not for contact wounds.
Even a .223 would take a good chunk of your head out if it was in contact.

Man... someday I gotta string together some leather and denim, put a piece of rock crystal on it for good luck, write "Celebrity" on it and make that the sole justifier for a pricetag of several thousand bucks.


So it looks like I'm going to have to build this dummy using a coconut filled with jello and wrapped in saran wrap and paper maché to simulate the head. As for attaching it at the neck I suppose I could use wood screws and instant-set epoxy and duct tape. Yeah, sounds pretty much more or less foolproof, although man that'd be an interesting mess to clean up, coconut flesh, jello, paper maché, and wood splinters... eurgh. I suppose I could nail the entire assembly to a cheap folding chair to give it support.

I could probably pick up the materials at Chinatown, they sell coconuts there all season long. Now I've got to find a suitable location to test this out, and someone who's willing to provide and shoot some guns for me.

Or you could save yourself the trouble and just go on Ogrish and see that it will not take off someones head off...but your plan sounds like a lot more fun;)
