Texada Island Black Tail Deer Hunt

Looking for a hunting partner for Deer hunt to Texada Island, BC. I'm in Courtenay, BC. Probably 3 or 4 nights. I provide truck and we share expenses, ferry, meals, gas, accommodations.

damn , that would be fun and a cool spot to hunt. Love black tail/sitka hunting , my favorite game animal to hunt in fact.
If i wasn't headed off on my moose draw I'd jump all over that. I'm sure someone will step up.

we do have non resident hunting licenses that can be aquired if the non resident has hunting credentials issued by thier local authorities. Then there is on top of that a permit to accompany a resident hunter. I`m sure others here will have more and clearer info for you as I haven`t actually gone thru the process with a foreign hunter but yes, there are provisions in place that would allow you to hunt here.

Tiss a long plane ride and either another hop on a float plane or three ferry rides makes for a long day to shoot some smallish deer WL, but your welcome to come on over.
Just bring your rain gear and leave the uggs at home

Be careful of your timing , we went once during the open to anything season . What a sh*t show , every single side road had a truck with a pair of guys . Quads tearing through the field you got up in the dark to hike into , sounded like down town Kandahar during fire fight . Worst kept secret around , Wasn’t a great experience.
