Thank you IPSC Ont BOD

This is sort of the problem. For some people it's "serious competition." To others, we just want to go out to the range and have fun shooting a match.

Why is that a problem? Are those people can't wear something that is not syn bleached or dirty?

We're not at the Olympics. In general, even for Provincials, etc., no one is at the range that isn't either shooting the match, with someone that is shooting the match, or helping to run the match. The public isn't going to freak out over my mossy oak hat because they're not going to see it. Even if they do see it, I don't think we should have to hide in the closet and pretend to be something we are not.

All matches are actually open to spectators. So, public can see everything. Besides, videos and pictures are posted all over internet, so you may as well put some effort to look nice on those pictures.

Besides, why you concerned about pretending something you are not? You can became something else entirely and make a change.

The anti-gunners aren't going to accept our sport all of a sudden just because we wear polo shirts and use diamonds for targets. They're always going to be against us just by virtue of there being a gun involved. You're never going to appease them so I say why bother restricting people's dress when in my opinion it doesn't make any difference?

It is a mistake to focus on what someone else may think and make assumptions what they would do. Focus on yourself and the sport you love and you'll be surprised to see the difference.

I do. That's why in our club level league we wear what we want :p

Storm is naively pushing too many directions while we need to focus on a baby steps.

.

come again?

I am promoting ACTION shooting of all sorts at EESA.

IDPA,

Multigun

And yes IPSC (particularly with the new sanction policy)

There is nothing naive about it.

I was getting stretched pretty thin there for a while but the EESA crew has jelled well.

I just wish IPSC would get off their collective arses and implement MULTIGUN.

Storm, it is naive to expect IPSC to pickup multigun now. At least the way you approach it... I am just saying.

Well reason was tried and failed.

I have NO illusions that IPSC will ever pick up multigun as long as the current rulers (note I say rulers not leaders) are in place.

That is why you are the naive one. I am pragmatic

I have given up on them seeing the the light.........

Soooooooooooo

Outlaw Multigun is the only solution that makes sense

Sure we will still have IPSC handgun matches (even level II again) but I suspect that the days of the EESA 3 gun Grand Tournament are gone.

I tried to reason with VP...........failed

I tried to work with NA.......and was shocked by his unprofessional attitude. He is a waste of rations as they say

I Tried to work with Dino........and sadly must report failure there as well.

If you want to stay within the __PSA format and put on multigun, is USPSA an option?

I personally much prefer outlaw multigun.

Anyone can use the USPSA rules if they wish... that's what we are doing at our club.

If you mean actually running sanctioned matches, from what I have read, it could be done, but then you will have to fulfill their sanctioning requirements, which means you are back to submitting your Level II's for approval.

Your club matches are for those in the 'fight club'. You shouldn't keep talking about it here in an open forum when nobody else is allowed to participate in them.

Check out Taran Butler at 2012 USPSA Multigun Nationals. The stages look awesome.
