Thanks all for the information requested a few weeks ago. I was looking for info on thought of the IWI Jericho in 9mm for a first hand gun. I listened to many of you and bought a Sig 1911 22LR a week ago as I love the way it feels and will never tire of a 22LR. Today I decided to bite the bullet and bought the 9mm that felt good in hand, a CZ 75 SP-01. What Can I say.....store in the area had a boxing week sale....I was sucked in....Hard lol
Have not shot it yet and will be awhile before I do possibly but after looking into and holding in hand...I'm going with the CZ Shadow to learn on. Thanks all for your input.

You won't be disappointed with the Shadow. Although I am pretty new to shooting as well, I tried several different semi autos after the Shadow but still liked it the best. I also have the Sig 1911 22LR and think its great too except for the problem with the excessive slide stop wear on mine, its been a great firearm.

well got the Shadow on a discount since the shadow 2 was just out...never know though as I'm sure I will like another at some point.

Congrats, you cannot go wrong with your choice! I own five CZ's and love them all. I have owned Berettas, Sigs, several 1911's, ruger, SA, and Para Ordnance, and nothing compares to the feel, accuracy, and reliability of the CZ.
