I’d like to thank all those CGNers who’ve helped me assemble all those hard to find accessories for my Boys anti-tank rifle. Here are some pics. First is of my original training pam , 5 Kynoc rounds in a stripper clip and a Canadian drill round. Second is a box for the spare magazines and the seldom seen bayonet.

You had me there for a second.....I thought I was going to have to go on the hunt for one myself.
Having worked with the Boys rifles for a couple decades now, I can only imagine how big the guy would be that had to carry that rifle with the bayonet fixed, and the momentum and force that would have been applied to the blade when it entered the kill test.

Say ,would you have a spair stripper clip kicking around ? Or point me in the direction to help me find 0ne .
Could you tell more about your dummy round ( is it a solid type or is it a case and projectile with a wooden rod in it ?)
I have one thats red fluted with with wooden rod ( you can see threw the holes drilled in the flutes )
I have another one thats has machined bands around it . Thanks

You both need to find the Cooey sub-caliber rounds for your rifles. Not overly rare but at the same time not cheap.

I have several varieties of dummy rounds. I think I like the fluted ones the best. For a rifle that had a very short service life, there seemed to be a good amount of variety of accessories.

...who can forget the only recorded Boys rifle bayonet charge in history at Foolsem on April 1...

well if you formed square those Boys gunners would be very useful for repelling the cavalry, particularly the sultans camel mounted regiments, might even have a chance against the Raj's elephant mounted troops.
