OK, so here's the story. I picked up a Vortex lower end scope from a guy who claimed he won it in a golf tournament. Nicely packaged, but missing the scope covers. Hmmm, says I, that seems a little fishy but the price was good. To make a long story short, when I mounted it and started sighting it in with the bore sighter, the windage knob worked fine but the elevation knob barely moved the cross hair at all. So, should I chuck it and suck it up as a lesson learned or see about repair costs? Much to my delight, when I checked out the warranty, guess what? As good as Leupold's!!! LIFETIME WARRANTY, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!! I fired it off the the distributor in Guelph with the appropriate paperwork (downloadable from the site), and 2 weeks later, I've got it in the mail. All it cost me was the postage to get it to Guelph. I've mounted it, and the adjustment knobs are moving the reticle just fine, thank you very much. So thanks to gentlemen at Vortex for excellent customer service. I'd deal with you guys and buy your products without reservation. Just letting my fellow CGN'ers know what my experience was like.

I 2nd VORTEX customer service!!!!!!!!!!! bought a second hand Strikefire from another member, mounted it and fired a few rounds.......uh oh Red Dot gone........got ahold of VORTEX in Guelph, sent it back to them on my dime.....in 2 weeks, brand new Strikefire returned to me no questions asked.....great company and they have a new loyal customer here, my next optics will be VORTEX for certain.....
