Oh, the action can be a bit stiff or rough feeling as chicom machining is well chicom machining lol. You can take off any burrs with some wet dry 800-1000 grit paper and oil to polish the action bars and track the bars ride in or you can rack the action for a few hours till it smoothes out on its own, I do this to any pump shotgun I pick up if it’s not already smooth as silk to pump.

With the muzzle straight up towards the ceiling and the action locked shut press the action release, does the forend stay locked shut or does it slide open under its own weight a 1/2”-1”? After a good polish mine all open up under their own weight and the action opens and closes smooth as silk.
