Here's a chance to own a Brand New full warranty SIG for as little as a buck.

These are brand new guns (not used or demo or refurb's)... they've been sitting in our inventory for a while so we decided to move them out and price them below cost.

To let customer's decide on the price we're starting them at a $1.00 each and seeing where it goes from there...

For details see our website Deals Page... https://shopquestar.com/shopping65/shopcontent.asp?type=deals

7 lucky people are going to get the deal of a lifetime... Happy Thanksgiving!

Just checked the auction is already at 405$ on all except one is at 505$, in 1 day :p Auction ends on the 10th so I'll go see on the 9th if I can sneak one out for less than the price of a used. :)

Different guns have different ending dates... some end on the 8th... some end on the 9th and the remaining end on the 10th.

The beauty of the auction system is that you can set your maximum bid amount and the system will keep you in it automatically... if the current bids are say $400 and you are willing to pay up to a maximum of say $575 then you place your $575 bid and that amount is kept secret by the system... if someone else bids more than your $405 bid then your bid automatically replaces their's at $5 more... so if no-one bids more than say $405 then you buy it for $405 but if some bids $410 then your bid automatically jumps it to $415 and you are top bid again... as high as necessary to keep your bid on top, but only up to the maximum limit you set.

Mark,

Not trying to hijack your SIG sale thread, I think your auction is brilliant. Any chance you guys are getting any Sig 1911R Tacops in soon? Hopefully the newer ones, pls refer to pictures.

This top picture is old production. Note straight line on front of slide and magazine design.

This middle picture is current production? Note the curve on the front of slide is traditional but the rest of the slide is Sig design & different magazines.

This bottom picture is future production? Note the traditional round slide design.

I really want the one in the middle. Any idea when you are getting some in? Thanks.

Cheers,
Gordon

one 229 already at $805

Every one of those 229's are still below dealer cost... and a heck of a deal ;)

The Limited Edition 229 currently @ $805 has a SIG factory threaded barrel which itself is worth over $300 Canadian alone!

The "E2's" were on our website at over $1,400.00... at @ $800 the guy is getting himself a once in a lifetime deal in my opinion.

All of the guns are worth considerably more than their current bids...

Did some checking and it appears that we have 1 of the SIG-1911R-45-TACOPS in-stock at the moment.

Tom is going to update the web picture (the gun we have is the newer/current version) and update the stock quantity later today. It will be available then... first come first serve.

Not very sportsmen like. He asked you about a specific gun that you didn't have. You say you found one for him that you didn't know you had, then say you will put it on the site for a first come first serve basis. I would think that the guy would get first dips on the gun he asked about. I think 24hours would be fair no? Am I missing something?

+1

PM him and give him a chance to buy it...

and I like the straight line on the slide better.........

Dig around some more, maybe you can find some ACR's

Never said I didn't know we had it... simply said that I confirmed we have one in stock.

"Sportsmen like" has nothing to do with it... the gun was actually put aside for someone else who had indicated they "wanted it" but never followed through... so much for favours and being "sportsmen like". We run a business and we try to be fair to EVERYONE... at least as much as we can.

I put the gun back into "available inventory" and let the poster know that it's up on the website if he's interested... all he needs to do is go to the site and put in his order if he wants the gun.

You are missing that Questar is a business, who is in the business of selling guns. Guy might not be actually looking to buy today, just asking about the near future. Someone else who sees the thread might be looking to buy today, if their dollar is slapped on the counter first, good for them. I've missed out on good deals on things I wanted, but was too late for, such is life. Capitalism, even in the limited forms in which we are free to engage in it, in this socialist utopia, can be a rough world. If anything, to say first come first served, is the most sportsman like way to settle the matter, as it is fair and open to all.

think your also forgetting this business put up 7 guns for a DOLLAR!!!!!!!!!!! dont hate on them for one tiny thing........ and if the guy wants it all he has to do is go on the site and click purchase.....

Mark,

Thanks for looking into it. I see the updated pics and its looks great! I am ready to buy from the website. However I do not see the updated stock of 1, or is it already sold again?

It was up on the site (available for purchase) for a day and a half after I posted... looks like someone bought it late last night. I had thought it was you, but from the post you just made I guess it wasn't.

I can tell you that we have one on back order with SIG right now and it is not yet spoken for... but I have no idea when that gun will arrive here... could be in a couple weeks or it could be a couple months (SIG won't give us delivery estimates). Best advice I can give you is that if you want one put in an order (with deposit)... if your order was in right now then that next gun that arrives would be earmarked for you... but if someone else puts in an order before you then they will be next up.

These guns don't seem to last long when they arrive (often they sell before we even get them, which is why most of the time they don't show as being in stock).

Thanks for the support fellas. I have to say I feel so used right about now. Just knowing that someone else purchased an item that was not available on the website for immediate purchase and was only "accepting advanced orders" because of my post inquiry, is hard to swallow.
