Thanksgiving Sale...

Thanks for the support fellas. I have to say I feel so used right about now. Just knowing that someone else purchased an item that was not available on the website for immediate purchase and was only "accepting advanced orders" because of my post inquiry, is hard to swallow.

Sorry you feel that way... it was available for you to purchase for a day and a half... it took you two days to react to my telling you it was available. The only reason it was "available" at all is because it was held aside for someone else that said they wanted it but never followed through. I feel used too ;)

If you had placed a pre-order a week ago (as an advance order) or even 2 days ago, then the gun would be yours right now.

People say all kinds of things... unfortunately we can't operate based on maybe and possibly. We work on orders... placed on our website and confirmed with deposit payments. We try very hard to make as many people as happy as we can as often as we can... but I learned very early on in business that you can NEVER make EVERYONE happy ALL OF THE TIME. It's simply not possible... we do the best we can... and accept it at that.

pissed! whoever scooped that two tone got a sweet deal, i was at work and it got too busy for me to check my phone and when i finally did i logged in with 15seconds left but could not bid in time..... congrats .... argggg lol

No need for the SRT it will be a DAK model with a set of Hogue G-10 piranna grips soon after it arrives zahahhahahaha. I agree it wasn't the deal of the century but two tone 229's are pretty rare up here and as I was in the market for another 229 I'm glad to save a couple of hundred bucks and get something fairly unique.

Good for you:). Congratulations! I was lucky enough to pick up one of the e2 P229's. Depending on who you talk to (really tough finding model comparable prices in Canada), I saved anywhere from $150 to $500.:stirthepot2:
In this overtaxed country we call Kanada, anything saved is a good thing!

Thank you Questar for doing the auction!

I picked up one of the P229 E2s for $855. Figured it was a pretty good deal. I have an elite stainless P229 (ordered back in feb) onroute to myself as well so it will be neat to do a comparison between the two.

Sig 229r -9-BSS-USTB

Actually ,the 229 Limited Edition came with Short Reset Trigger(SRT) and the Short Reach Trigger .

Not that the facts should interfere with someones agenda to devalue the gun and the purchaser

Meh...saved about $140 and it does not have a Short Reset Trigger.

The other limited edition 229 doesn;t have it either.

Thanksgiving Gun Auction

Thankyou Questar for putting the Sigs up for Auction

Perfect timing, as I had just inquired about a couple of them ,days before hearing about the Auction

Couldnt decide on which to buy,226 or 229, then ,the Auction was just enough incentive to buy each

Both were waiting for me when I returned home yesterday from 2 weeks on the road

Another super easy ,fast transaction with Questar
