Hello guys! As for nate18, Your comment about me sounding like red green would have offended me if I didnt always keep my stick on the ice! And yes I always have lots of duct tape handy at home. (I'm not kidding!) LOL! I have heard that comment many times before! Thats just the voice me mom gave to me. LOL!
Rnbra-shooter: I am using the G7 Litz ballistic coefficient. My shot card was amazingly accurate out to 1500! But fell off at 1760yds. I never shot at 1600 or 1700yds, so I dont know exactly at what distance the shot card values started to deviate. And thanks for the encouragement! I have always ate, breathed, slept, dreamed, & day dreamed shooting my whole life. When I get into a new line of interest like this long range game, all my energy becomes very focused untill I reach my goal. Kind of the obsessive/compulsive approach.....LOL! My wife is a very, VERY understanding lady! Bless her heart!
Mystic precision: I have worked out a load with the 208's a while back. I think i will take your advice and see what they will do. I am presently limited to 2000yds. though. I would love to find another spot to launch my long range program! The holes in the target board are very clean and round. I didnt realize what was meant by the comment by top predator, untill I sent the post. A blonde moment so to speak. LOL! You mentioned a mechanical scope base. Do you know if there are any available? Who makes them? That would be sweet if I could swing that into my shooting system! I have seen them on the big 50's, but nowhere else. How practical are they?
If I could find an area that has 2100-2500 I might try it. But i would soon have to use my mil lines for referance, hence that "mechanical base" you were talking about. LOL!
Gunsliger:You are right, I am very passioate about my shooting. It is just who I am.
Thankyou to everyone for your input! It really shortens the learning curve! Take care and straight shoot'in guys!
