This was some let down 5th shot
90gr Bergers, cci br Lapua cases at 2760fps 13ft ES
The first four shots I was stunned it looked like one hole even after watching target as he shot, size did not change
4 shots .071" I have never seen a group that small but it turned out to be just another 5 shot group.

It does make one wonder sometimes. I had a great group going last night at the club, and had a flyer head straight south for some odd reason. I figure I must have flinched or something distracted me for a split second.

I will say my grouping was NO WHERE near as tight as that one.

Looks like the 90 Bergers are going to clean up at the Victoria Day matches.

Terry I don,t think that will the case with this shooter he was shooting tonight at Connaught at 300m winds where 10mph to 16 mph 11 to 5 angle
there was a target rifle target 1moa, there was lots more 5s & 4s than V bulls.
he was shooting with a fellow who had Ian Robertson build him a 22 250 with a Barnard action and a 1/7 twist Tru-Flite shooting 90gr bergers at 3100fps. man it was working in the wind lots and lots of V bulls no 4s
he could surprise some of the open guns out to 800 don,t know about 900m will be interesting,
Hope to see you Sat morning

I think when we see a good four shot group we do things we don,t remember like holding gun harder and many other things we didn,t do in first 4 shots and that gives you that flyer, maybe the cure is have rifle shooting 15" left or right and never look at group till we have fired the 5th shot.

I'm reasonably confident I overheard the following conversation:

"What target are you shooting on?"
"The left one."
"No you're not; I was watching and it never moved."

Followed a few moments later by:

"Holy sh#t, they're all in the same hole!"

Great shooting Butch!

Overwhelming feeling of inadequacy..........
That is amazing shooting any day of the week.
Back to the ranges again for me, now the wife can see why its SO important for me to spend all this time and money :)
Again...amazing :)
